I just wanted to write a note to say how wonderful our stay was in the apartment. We loved being able to sit outside on the terrace and listen to the bells of Notre Dame, as well as music from the restaurants. Although it rained almost everyday, everything was perfect. My husband quickly made friends with the boulanger downstairs, and with the propriétaire du marché across the street. I already miss Paris, the people were so helpful and polite. I loved being part of the Parisian culture, if only for one week. I am changed forever.

Even though the museums and monuments in Paris are fantastic, some of my favorite times were sitting on the deck having wine and cheese or a light dinner and overlooking the city. , Ile St Louis is wonderful. We certainly enjoyed the patisserie downstairs and also the one around the corner. It was a great location from which to explore the Marais and Bastille area and the Latin Quarter. We also had absolutely terrific weather the entire week so made great use of the huge deck in the evenings.

We had such a good time in Paris, and enjoyed so much
staying in the Ile St Louis apartment. It worked out
perfectly for us. It was wonderful to have coffee and
treats from the bakery in the morning before venturing
out to explore the museums and streets of Paris. We
cooked dinner a couple of nights, after stopping into
the market across the street. The apartment is in
such a central location, and the neighborhood is the
best! We can't wait to return for another visit --
and I will definitely be recommending your place to
friends.

I am convinced tha Amie Luduc lives in the same
building!! In her latest novel, I'm sure it's the
bakery downstairs that she runs through to escape from
someone chasing her!

Thanks so much for making us feel welcomed in your

Bonjour Sauveur,

This year is flying by for us. I hope all is well for you too. I just wanted to tell you again what a wonderful time my daughter and I had in Paris. And to finally give a bit of feedback.

The directions and descriptions (to and about the apartment) were clear and easy to follow. Your apartment is lovely. Having the washer, dryer and dishwasher allowed us to sample of living in Paris for six days, and save money.

The location is truly ideal. Many people dream of visiting Notre Dame, and we saw it in the morning and at night, and in the sun and in the rain. Of course, the girls loved the ice cream and daily baguettes.

My husband is a builder and enjoyed the pictures of the beautiful apartment building, both inside and out. (And he was amazed when I said that the hot water was immediate for the shower.)

The apartment is perfect for a family. As a mother of 4, I do think the stairs in the might be difficult for a toddler/young child.

Clotilde was welcoming and helpful. Her son Pierre helped us with our 2 small problems by bringing a spare computer and hair dryer. On the day we were checking out, rain was pouring down outside. Clotilde offered to run our luggage to the hotel where we were spending our last night. It was a quick errand that meant very much to us.

Unfortunately, we did not locate the livre d'or. We would have loved to have read the comments and added to them.

Thank you for the referral for Pierre. Traveling with kids, it was quite a comfort to have him meet us at the airport. (about 75 Euros for the 4 for us).

One of our highlights was dinner with a family that was coordinated by meetingthefrench.com. I had read reviews online, and the Seattle Times also featured the company in a travel section article. It was a great opportunity for all of us to experience French culture by spending an evening with a Parisian family.
I would recommend, and gladly stay again, in your lovely apartment. I love Paris, and with one husband and 3 more daughters to take, I do hope to visit again!

We’re back in San Francisco having had a wonderful time in Paris (and Croatia). Thanks again for allowing us to put up the girls in the living room pullouts. They didn’t seem to mind as staying with us saved them enough to actually eat out in real restaurants several nights. No problems with the unit. Hamid (I think he was your decorator) fixed the small leak in the kitchen sink without a hitch. Our daughter did manage to inadvertently bring back one of the guide books that was in the unit (Paris by the numbers) which I’ll drop by your place when I get a chance. Have a great summer. We’ve enjoyed that the fog has held off so far since we’ve returned.

Sauveur --Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the apartment. Well organized and the computer was a joy and pleasure.
One funny surreal moment -- Saturday we had gone to Malmaison and I had gotten a CD of Josephine's court music. Sunday night I had that on the CD player, was following the Red Sox play by play on the computer. It started hailing so Jim and I went upstairs to watch it from the kitchen ...with the tin roof overhead. So there we were -- Red Sox play by play downstairs, Jospehine's harp and piano music upstairs, and hail pelting the tin roof as if we were inside a popcorn popper. Weird, but great fun.

... The apartment was everything we hoped for! It was roomy and comfortable for my husband, myself and our two kids. On the very last night our daughter was very sick - we think she may have gotten a touch of food poisoning - so I slept downstairs with her. I must say, that is the most comfortable sleeper sofa I have ever slept on.
I don't see any improvements you could make. Everything was clean and well organized. Clotilda was wonderful, very warm and friendly and full of great information. We felt so bad that we were late getting to the apartment - our ParisShuttle never came to pick us up and we had to catch a cab! But Clotilda was very understanding and kind.
We want to come back to Paris, and when we do, you can be sure we'll stay at one of your properties! Thank you for everything!

Yes, cell phone calls to US are free. Only calls to cell phones in Europe are charged 35 cents of Euros a minute
